Megan - every dog has its day

Megan was the star of our walk today, taking large dogs,  a large goat and Tex in her stride, and well-deserving her Dog of the Day title. The rest of us tagged along behind, in mild, dry weather and pretty countryside. Thanks to all who came - it was a good walk.

Walk on Tuesday January 14th

Starting point

Our first walk of 2014 is a new route, starting at the old station at Coatélan on the D109 between Plougonven and Plourin-les-Morlaix. This is a circuit combining country footpaths and quiet roads with a section of the Green Way. Some areas will be very muddy after heavy rain, but on the whole the surfaces are as good as it gets for a mid-winter walk, and there are some great views along the way.
We start at 2pm prompt.

2014 marks the tenth anniversary of Brittany Walks and we shall be having a party to celebrate in the spring. Plenty of good walking before that, starting with a new route next week (14th) near Plougonven. Wishing you all great walking wherever you are in this New Year.
